Hello and Bonjour Elizabeth Barrett families,
Welcome to the 2025–26 School Year at Elizabeth Barrett!
We are excited to welcome all of our students and families to the new school year! Whether you’re new to Elizabeth Barrett or returning, we look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s learning and growth.
Open House – Thursday, August 28
Our Open House is a great opportunity for your child to meet their teacher, visit their classroom, and see where they’ll enter the school each day.
- Grades 1–4: 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
- Kindergarten (AM classes): 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- Kindergarten (PM classes): 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Class placements will be emailed to families on Wednesday, August 27.
Staggered Start to the School Year
To help ease students into the school routine, we will be using a staggered entry:
- Tuesday, September 2: Students with last names A–K attend
- Wednesday, September 3: Students with last names L–Z attend
- Thursday, September 4: All students attend together
Upcoming Events
Welcome Back BBQ – Wednesday, September 17 – 5:00 – 6:30
Join us for food, connection, and a chance to meet your child’s teacher. You’ll also hear about curriculum, classroom routines, and important information for the year ahead.
School Council & Fundraising Association Meetings – Wednesday, September 24
- School Council: 6:30 p.m.
- Elizabeth Barrett School Fundraising Association (EBSFA): 7:30 p.m.
All parents are welcome! These meetings are a great way to stay involved and informed about school life.
